3 Easy Dog-Friendly Pancake Recipes

Shrove Tuesday is tomorrow (25th Feb) so what better way to celebrate Pancake Day than getting your four-legged friend involved? But don’t rush off to the shops just yet as you probably already have these ingredients in your fridge or cupboards.

Pancakes are perfectly fine to give your dog, as long as it’s only for a special treat and if they don’t contain any potentially dangerous ingredients or toppings. Such as chocolate, syrups and lemons to name but a few.

Below you’ll find some well quick, well easy and well tasty pancakes recipes to cook up for your canine that won’t leave them with upset tummies. We’ve even included a list of dog-friendly toppings!

NOTE: If your dog is allergic to wheat then you can swap out the plain flour for a gluten-free alternative such as coconut flour. We also suggest using almond or soya milk as a dairy alternative since dairy can cause discomfort in some dogs diets.

2 eggs
400ml water

Method:
1. Combine all 3 ingredients into a batter and add more water if necessary.

3. Cook the other side for approximately 30-40 seconds and pop aside to cool before adding toppings like blueberries and banana (more dog friendly toppings listed below).

Pancake Recipe 2
